Wintermoore Museum I
This is the first of the 2 Museums Xanthar built on Atlantic (Felucca). Everytime I go went, I was just amazed at all the true rares (yes I once was a true rares collectioner), that filedl up the place. Actually, there were so many of them, he needed to build 2 museums to expose them all. Sadly, the RP town of Wintermoore is no more as it was taken down in the Summer of 2004. Some of the rares in there are invaluable and are a true monument to the history of Ultima Online. So I am quite happy to at least have these pictures to remind me of that great era of UO.
At the entrance, you are greeted by 2 magical doors. They are basically like flaming heads but do not spit fire. The banners are matched with the colors of the town (just like the house sign) white and blue. The pines and stretched hides outside the house are non moveable.

Xanthar did a great job at matching the themes of each room. The ground floor, is a mix of a tavern or the hold of a boat. Wood curls, stacked bottles, ship models (not the regular dry docked boats), silverware and chess pieces, decks of cards on tables, you can almost picture the sailors stumbling back in half drunk to finish their game. I would sure love to get my hands on the pile of logs to put next to my fireplace but even more, I would die for those vases. At least some of them didn't get the shaft with stonecrafting.

The second floor is much more colorful, with the full monster statuettes collection, gift plant sets, fruit baskets and true rare horse bridle and folded sheets. I could also use some of those easter eggs. But these days, I try to stay away from any rares that can be eaten. My girl always finds a way to eat the fruits in the baskets or the colored muffins... *sighs*

The 3rd floor is more gloomy. Almost feels like walking inside a dungeon. Rocks and boulders everywhere, bones (not all of them containers), dirty pots, bloody bandages and 2 of my favorite (I'd sell an arm for those) the skull candle and the brasier.

And finally, we hit the roof. *drooools*. The picture speaks for itself on this one. What I wouldn't do to get my hands on those giant guardian statues. Too bad they don't face south though. But whichever direction they look at, I wouldn't mind a pair of those in my house. Once again, they're surrounded by a nice little garden. All the books on the floor are true rares also, they are not the glassblowing or stone crafting books. Even the bowl of water in the middle is worth by itself the price of a small Trammel house.
